Background and InspirationEdit

The Phantom Sword was included in Relics of Hyrule since version 5.0. In version 5.2 of Relics of Hyrule, the mesh and textures for the Phantom Sword were improved. In the same update, the True Phantom Sword was added into Relics of Hyrule.

The Phantom Sword's appearance in Relics of Hyrule greatly differs from its appearance in Phantom Hourglass. In Phantom Hourglass, the Phantom Sword has the Phantom Hourglass in the middle of the cross-guard, the cross-guard is thick, and the handle is brown. In Relics of Hyrule, the Phantom Sword's cross-guard is slimmer and has less curves. The Phantom Sword in Relics of Hyrule is slimmer at the base of the blade, where as in Phantom Hourglass, the blade's base is wider than the the rest of the blade.
