The Magnetic Gloves a pair of unique gauntlets found in Darkshade. They offer protection equal to that provided by Orcish Gauntlets. The Magnetic Gloves are heavy armor and cannot be adjusted.
When worn, the Magnetic Gloves increase the magnitude of Shock spells by 10% and reduce the likelihood of being disarmed if wielding a weapon made with iron or steel.
Location[]
The Magnetic Gloves are found in a chest submerged in a pool at the end of a stream. The area has a hole in the ceiling and the chest is below this hole, in the center of the pool.

Generally speaking, any weapons of Glass or better are unaffected by the Magnetic Gloves.
Background and Inspiration[]
The Magnetic Gloves are retextured Nordic Carved Gauntlets.
The design on the gauntlets features an N and an S to reference the poles of a magnet. These letters are reversed on opposing gauntlets, resulting in a backward S but forward N on the right gauntlet, and a forward S and a backward N on the left gauntlet.
The Magnetic Gloves are based on gauntlets of the same name from Oracle of Seasons and Four Swords. The design of the gloves draws inspiration from the coloration from Four Swords, with the engraving of N and S from Oracle of Seasons. JKalenad originally intended for the left gauntlet to be blue and the right to be red.
