The Igneous Hammer is a unique warhammer with the strength of a Daedric Warhammer and weight of a Dwarven Warhammer. It is one of the Sage Weapons.
Much like the Goron Weapons, each strike will deal fire damage, however it has a high critical hit.
It can be tempered with Fire Salts and a Corundum Ingot.
Location[]
The Igneous Hammer is found in a chest inside Fear of the Ruptured Towers, accessed through a hidden entrance. In the upper room where the chest that contains the Golden Mirror Shield and the Gossip Stone is located, the player needs to play the Song of Time to create a bridge of Blocks of Time, that leads to another chest that holds the hammer.
Lore[]
The Igneous Hammer was wielded by Darunia during the Last Great War of Hyrule. Its presence in Fear, a remnant of the Fire Temple, indicates that Darunia carried it when attempting to retrieve the Megaton Hammer as described in The Eruption of Death Mountain.
Background and Inspiration[]
The Igneous Hammer was added in version 6.5 as the only Goron Warhammer. It is made from retextured Dwarven assets, with two Dwarven Mace heads forming the head of the hammer.
