Kakariko Graveyard is a portion of Kakariko Village, located near the southeast corner of the town. It contains 324 gravestones, 116 of which can be interacted with in order to read their engravings. The remaining 208 gravestones can also be interacted with, but the player will be notified that the text is too faded to read.
The Shadow Temple is accessed via the graveyard.

Background and Inspiration[]
Kakariko Graveyard was implemented in version 6.3 of Relics of Hyrule with the rest of Kakariko Village.
Several engravings were submitted by users of the mod. JKalenad kept track of the engravings and layout before building the graveyard. The same grid that was used to keep track of the layout was used for this article.
Kakariko Graveyard was intended to be implemented into Kakariko Village since JKalenad first decided on adding the village to Relics of Hyrule. It was designed to be enormous to emphasize the scale of the Last Great War of Hyrule and the toll the war had on the kingdom. The jokes and quotes were included to pay homage to games that featured tongue-in-cheek epitaphs on gravestones as easter eggs.
A total of 41 gravestones feature quotes from Nightwish, of which JKalenad is a big fan. The entirety of graves in column N feature quotes from Nightwish.
Gravestones in Row 13 mostly feature quotes from Doctor Who, specifically words said by each incarnation of the Doctor at the end of that incarnation's life. The quotes are chronological and the names come from the actors who portrayed each incarnation.
Gravestones D4 through G4 reference Doki Doki Literature Club, a game that resonated strongly with JKalenad and provided influence for aspects of Relics of Hyrule during development of 6.5.15 and later updates.
Prior to version 6.49, gravestone R11 featured the words "Strange were the circumstances of her death," but JKalenad opted to properly quote Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. Gravestones L8, M4, and O1 were not readable prior to version 6.49.
Gravestone M4 was added during a livestream on November 3rd, 2016
Gravestone G4 uses code to extract the name of the player's character from the hidden Fairy Letter delivery quest used by the courier.
In version 6.5.17, Impa's gravestone was adjusted to grant access to the Shadow Temple.
