Hylian Ghosts are leveled enemies that manifest as translucent, blue humanoid figures. They are equipped with gear from Hyrule's past, including Hylian Caps, Circlets, Soldier or Scout Helmets, Soldier Armor, Scout Tunics, or Glass Armor, Forgotten Swords and Forgotten Axes, Hylian Shields, Goron Weapons, and Zora Weapons and Shields. Some Hylian Ghosts carry low-level bows and steel arrows, which are the only non-Hylian items that the Ghosts can wield.
Hylian Ghosts can be found in Kinolangdanzel, and physical counterparts can be found in The Ruptured Towers - Misery, or roaming Skyrim as Vampires.
Hylian Ghosts drop Ectoplasm on death.
They can be summoned using the Oath to Order if the player does not have the Hero's Shade Blessing.

Hylian Ghosts are the souls of Hylian soldiers trapped between Mundus and Aetherius (or Oblivion, as the case may be). Their spirits are locked in battle, and will fight any mortals they see. They shriek with the agony of lost souls unable to form words.
The ghosts may be Hylian souls that were captured by evil forces and never freed, or they may be soldiers who were dying just as the Triforce was shattered, preventing their ascendance.
Background and Inspiration[]
Hylian Ghosts were implemented in version 3.0 with Kinolangdanzel. In subsequent updates, they have been balanced and streamlined, as well as reduced in number. Morwitijaal and Itnamzand featured Hylian Ghosts before the ghosts were replaced with newer enemies, such as Hylian Vampires, Poes, or Iron Knuckles.
Hylian Ghosts serve as a source of rare equipment, including tunics and armors, as well as Zora Weapons and Hylian Shields.
At first, Hylian Ghosts carried iron or steel weapons, but have been given exclusively Hylian equipment over time.
