The Elemental White Sword is a unique one-handed sword. It can be upgraded into the Elemental White Sword II and Elemental White Sword III.
The sword can ultimately be crafted into the Four Sword.
Characteristics[]
By default, the Elemental White Sword is equal in strength and weight to a Glass Sword. The White Sword II upgrade is equal to an Ebony Sword, and the White Sword III upgrade is equal to a Daedric Sword.
All White Sword variants have a slightly increased swing speed compared to standard swords. Each version has the standard reach distance for a sword.
The base White Sword deals increased critical damage (x1.83 base damage), as do the upgraded versions, albeit with slightly lower ratios (x1.77 and x1.71 base damage, respectively). All versions have the standard critical multiplier of x1.0.
All White Sword variants may be tempered with a Quicksilver Ingot.
Effects[]
The White Sword has increasingly powerful enchantments. The base sword has a 50% chance to deal 10 points Poison Damage for nine seconds.
The White Sword II increases this damage to 11 points of Poison Damage (albeit lowering occurrence to 25% chance) and gains a 25% chance to deal 11 points of Fire Damage.
The White Sword III increases the Poison and Fire Damage to 12 points alongside gaining a 25% chance to deal 12 points of Frost Damage.

Background and Inspiration[]
The Elemental White Sword is based on the evolution of the Picori Blade featured in The Minish Cap. Unlike its inspiration, in Relics of Hyrule each iteration of the Elemental White Sword gains features that make it resemble the Four Sword more closely than previous iterations. The values of each iteration progress toward 2004, the year The Minish Cap was released.
